In today’s increasingly interconnected and information-driven world, cross-language communication is more critical than ever. People from diverse cultures should be able to speak freely without having to pay a lot of money for translation services. Lowering the barriers to global communication provides people worldwide with more direct access to basic information, improving their quality of life. Democratizing language translation has the potential to include marginalized populations across the planet in universal education and international commerce, enabling upward social mobility.
